Fell & Sell Dungeon Map Guide

Use the Fell & Sell HUD minimap and full map, plan a safer route, and understand what changed when the public Dungeon Update removed Return to Village.

Ver. 1.4.3 named baseline · Official-source review 2026-09-19 · Newer public update: September 18

Quick answer

Fell & Sell has a HUD dungeon minimap and a full map, added August 31. The official keyboard shortcut for the full map is M; check your current binding if you changed controls. Use the map to track explored routes and orient yourself before moving on. Return to Village was removed by the public September 18 Dungeon Update.

What is verified

  • HUD minimap and full map have been live since August 31, 2026.
  • The announcement identifies M as the full-map keyboard shortcut.
  • A map is a navigation aid; the notes do not promise every secret or loot location is revealed.

Version-aware guidance

What changed recently

September 18 changes dungeon generation and enemy encounters, then removes the temporary Return to Village button. Plan navigation around the current dungeon instead of an old escape-button shortcut.

01

Use the minimap for orientation and the full map for decisions

The HUD minimap lets you keep track of dungeon floors and previously visited areas. The full map provides a larger navigation view. The developer describes using the system to plan a route towards the boss room, but does not publish a complete legend or promise that all rooms are visible before exploration.

Editorial routine: check your position after a fight, consult the full map at a safe moment, then choose the next branch deliberately. This makes it easier to notice when you have returned to a familiar junction rather than assuming every corridor leads somewhere new.

02

Find the correct map control for your setup

M is the keyboard shortcut named in the August 31 announcement. Full key rebinding was introduced August 27, so a customized profile can differ. Read the in-game binding and current input prompts if the documented key does not open the map.

Controller support is official, but the reviewed map announcement does not specify a universal controller button for the full map. Use the current gamepad prompts rather than copying a guessed binding from another game.

03

Plan around the September dungeon changes

The September 18 update changes enemy spawning into room groups, introduces tougher Elites and adds time-consuming eating and drinking animations. A short route on the map is not automatically a safe route through those encounters.

Editorial planning: reassess your next room using your current health, available consumables and the haul you are carrying. Consult the Dungeon Risk Planner to compare your own risk assumptions; the map and planner do not expose hidden enemy or loot probabilities.

04

Distinguish a blocked route from a missing escape button

The developer adjusted generation to prevent walls and corridors appearing inside rooms, and removed the temporary Return to Village button as part of that update. Its absence is expected behavior after September 18.

Unstuck was separately introduced in 1.1.1 for being trapped or out of bounds, with the dungeon entrance as its stated destination. The new announcement specifically removes Return to Village; do not treat the two features as interchangeable. Report a remaining generation issue with your build and a view of the obstruction.

Outdated advice to avoid

Launch guides claiming there is no map are obsolete. Guides that use Return to Village as an always-available fallback also predate its September 18 removal.

Frequently asked

Questions about fell and sell dungeon map minimap

Which key opens the full dungeon map?

The official August 31 announcement says M. Check the current controls menu if you have rebound keys; no universal gamepad map button is verified in that announcement.

Does the map show every hidden room or reward?

The official notes confirm navigation and tracking explored areas but do not specify complete secret-room, loot or enemy visibility. Do not treat an unmarked area as proof that nothing is there.

How was this guide verified?

Reviewed September 19, 2026 against the linked official Steam announcements. Ver. 1.4.3 is the named patch baseline; the September 18 public Dungeon Update is distinguished wherever it changes earlier advice. Older developer replies and community reports retain their original dates and labels.
