Quick answer

Ver. 1.4.3, released September 7, is this wiki's named patch baseline. What changed recently

A public Dungeon Update shipped September 18 after the supplied Ver. 1.4.3 baseline. It is confirmed live for all players, rather than beta-only; no numeric version is supplied in its announcement.

01

September 18 — public Dungeon Update

Published at 14:01:45 UTC, the official announcement confirms release to all players after beta testing. Dungeon+ unlocks through a shrine after a deliberately censored encounter. Elites introduce stronger stats and modifiers, with a chance to drop Unholy Skulls for weapon and armor upgrades up to +3 at the Blasphemous Anvil.

Enemies now spawn in room groups; food and potions take animations during which attacking is disabled. The generator changes remove the need for the temporary Return to Village button, which was removed. Loot and prayers were rebalanced, and some furniture bonuses were reduced, taking effect only after a shop visit. No numeric patch label or exact drop table is given.

02

September 7 — Ver. 1.4.3

Improved queueing, smarter counter navigation and clearer pricing UI refine the Shop Update. NPCs should no longer go upstairs to pay when an active ground-floor counter is available.

The named fixes cover QuestBoard loading failure or hanging, audio stutter, repeated merchandise price multiplication after furniture placement, handheld cursor behavior, loading older 1.4.0 demo saves and localization. A new similar symptom requires current reproduction evidence.

03

September 5 — Ver. 1.4.2

Added red price text when exceeding the acceptable price by the developer-described 10%–33% band. The first save load could lower severely overpriced existing items to a random acceptable value, explicitly not a maximum. These statements do not disclose a hidden pricing formula.

Checkout became a single interaction with customers leaving gold when they reach the counter. The patch also fixes customer navigation and a connected-gamepad keyboard conflict, and optimizes foliage rendering.

04

September 4 — SHOP UPDATE / 1.4.0 era

Darkmoon Fair, Ivory Tower and Old Vinery expand the property selection. Furniture becomes a physical obstacle to customer navigation; blocked shoppers and full queues now have more useful feedback. Base prices are established before active shop bonus percentages, and existing prices need checking.

Item Deconstruction returns a portion of crafting materials, and expanded item UI shows more sales metrics and stats. Furniture recipes and market values changed, rug stacking was removed, and the Master Dungeoneering reward issue was fixed. The demo was also refreshed to better reflect this state.

05

September 3 and August 31 — settings, maps and roadmap

September 3 adds Danish, Dutch, Italian, Norwegian and Swedish, improves performance and memory use, adds Brightness and Gamma and expanded SSAO controls, and fixes quality settings applying in real time.

The August 31 map update adds a HUD minimap, a full map on the default M binding, inventory sorting, storage safeguards and sensitivity tuning. The separately published roadmap announces Shop, Dungeon, Death & Taxes, poll-driven content and co-op milestones. The first two are now live; the rest require later delivery evidence.

06

August 29–30 — Ver. 1.1.1, 1.1.2 and 1.1.3

Ver. 1.1.1 on August 29 addresses house wiping and adds Unstuck plus the explicitly temporary Return to Village option. It also fixes the Quest Board, Forest loading, perk persistence, duplication, Iron Oni Mask and Iron Light Armor drops/display, the Staff of the Dead projectile and affected recipes.

Ver. 1.1.2 on August 30 adds MainMenu-scene conversion, empty-save recovery, corrupted-element repair, legacy migration and shrine persistence. Ver. 1.1.3 later that day fixes special-room saving and adds the Construction Chest safety net for qualifying lost furniture, particularly for saves from 1.1.0 or earlier.

07

August 27 — gamepad support

The Gamepad Support announcement on August 27 confirms full controller support, full key rebinding, Auto Pickup and QuickSlot icons. It addresses cell gates, furniture/shop disappearance, the Quest Board and saving, while correcting shadow-setting behavior, adding an SSAO toggle and disabling motion blur.

This update superseded the launch announcement's unavailable-controller status. It also described the game as more Steam Deck-friendly, which is developer wording rather than a Valve verification rating or a measured performance guarantee.

08

August 26 — release, Ver. 1.0.1 and Ver. 1.0.2

Full release was announced August 26, 2026. The developer allowed demo-save continuation while recommending a fresh start. The launch statement that controllers were not ready was superseded by the August 27 support announcement, and later save patches added compatibility fixes.

Ver. 1.0.1 was published August 26 at 17:34:51 UTC and addressed demo reward furniture, high-stat bars and FOV. Ver. 1.0.2 followed at 23:49:44 UTC, fixing blocked passages, floor-load freezing, replaced-weapon loss when overloaded and stacked equipment behavior; opened doors also remain open. Local timezone displays may show a different calendar day for that late update.

Demo Update 2.0.1 remains historical evidence for toggles, balancing and old fixes. Community reports and older developer workarounds retain their dates and limits. This timeline does not assign public version numbers from beta branch timestamps.

Outdated advice to avoid

Ver. 1.0.2 is launch history, and Ver. 1.4.3 is no longer the newest public announcement. The September 17 beta build alone is not gameplay evidence; the September 18 official public release is.
