First identify what disappeared: a whole fixture, its stock, or only an armor model. Check inventory and the Construction Chest for old-save recovery, then record the current build and trigger. The launch rack-stack report is historical community evidence; recurrence on today's public build is not verified here.
What is verified
- Rack stack disappearance is community-reported, not officially confirmed as universal.
- Version 1.0.2 fixed stacked equipment behavior but did not explicitly name rack storage loss.
- A current report should include version, stack state, rack type, and trigger steps.
Version-aware guidance
What changed recently
August save patches addressed house and furniture losses; Ver. 1.1.1 fixed two invisible iron armor displays, and Ver. 1.1.3 added Construction Chest recovery. Ver. 1.4.3's furniture fix concerns repeated item-price multiplication.

Check quantities in inventory and on the rack before assuming deletion. Ver. 1.1.1 fixed the Iron Oni Mask and Iron Light Armor appearing invisible on armor racks; an invisible model and a missing inventory entry require different evidence. Record the exact item rather than reporting all armor as affected.
If the entire fixture is absent on an older save, check the Construction Chest described in Ver. 1.1.3, especially after upgrading from 1.1.0 or earlier. Preserve the folder before recovery. For an uncertain stack interaction, test only replaceable stock while gathering a minimal reproduction.
Do not overread the patch note
Version 1.0.2 says stacked equipment behavior was fixed without explicitly naming every rack-storage scenario. Later August patches addressed shop and furniture loss and storage safeguards. These fixes weaken blanket launch-era warnings but do not establish the cause of an unrelated new report.
Ver. 1.4.3 corrected prices repeatedly multiplying when furniture was picked up and replaced. That is an economy/display issue, not a statement that lost items will return. Capture the exact current build, stack operation and whether rearrangement or loading triggered the symptom.
Preserve recovery options
Close the game before copying the full save folder, and do not overwrite backups while investigating. If the loss followed an upgrade, the developer-described .bak1 recovery path may be relevant but is not guaranteed.
Report the smallest reproducible sequence and the items involved. Specific evidence is more useful than labeling all missing inventory as the same bug.
Outdated advice to avoid
Missing rack stock, invisible armor, missing fixtures and inflated prices are different symptoms. The dated launch rack-stack report does not prove an active current bug, and the price-stacking fix does not claim to restore lost stock.
Frequently asked
Questions about fell and sell weapon armor rack bug
Is rack stack loss verified on the current build?
No current reproduction is verified here. The retained launch report is community evidence, while related visibility, furniture-loss and price-stacking fixes have separate official dates.
Did the stacked-equipment fix cover racks?
The v1.0.2 wording does not explicitly say that every rack-storage loss case was fixed, so the statuses remain separate.
How was this guide verified?
Reviewed September 19, 2026 against the linked official Steam announcements. Ver. 1.4.3 is the named patch baseline; the September 18 public Dungeon Update is distinguished wherever it changes earlier advice. Older developer replies and community reports retain their original dates and labels.
