Version-aware guidance
What changed recently
The September 18 Dungeon Update follows 1.4.3 with Dungeon+, gear upgrades and removal of Return to Village. Do not read the 1.4.3 notes as the end of the public update timeline.
Read the dated update timelineShop queues and counter selection
The developer reworked queueing to improve customer flow and corrected shoppers travelling upstairs to pay despite an active counter downstairs. The patch also clarifies the pricing interface. These are targeted improvements to a shop system already changed by the September 4 update.
Editorial check: watch a shopper reach a display, join a queue and finish paying. If the problem persists, record the floor, counter placement and any furniture blocking the route. A pricing change cannot establish whether a route is reachable.
Furniture price stacking was a bug
Before the fix, picking up and placing furniture could repeatedly multiply the prices of items displayed on it. Ver. 1.4.3 corrects that behavior. This note does not remove legitimate shop bonuses or disclose the full pricing formula.
Check the price shown on merchandise after rearranging a shop, especially if the save experienced this issue previously. Keep a new observation separate from pre-fix prices so an inflated historical value does not become the starting point of a price guide.
QuestBoard, audio and handheld fixes
The patch addresses a QuestBoard that failed or remained stuck while loading, audio stuttering, and cursor behavior on handheld devices. Localization also receives corrections. The announcement documents specific fixes, not a promise that every device or save is free of unrelated issues.
For a new report, note the installed version or build, the exact step that failed and whether it happens repeatedly. For handheld problems, distinguish cursor input from frame rate: a cursor fix alone does not establish a device performance rating.
Older demo saves and the newer public update
The compatibility fix explicitly concerns progress carried over from the older 1.4.0 demo. That is more precise than saying all save formats changed. Preserve a copy of an affected save before attempting recovery and use the Save System guide to identify earlier automatic repair features.
Keep the patch date attached to these fixes. Dungeon+, Unholy Skulls, the Blasphemous Anvil and Return to Village removal are documented in the later September 18 announcement, rather than this 1.4.3 changelog.
Outdated advice to avoid
Moving a display repeatedly to inflate prices relied on a fixed bug. A QuestBoard hang or demo-save loading failure described before September 7 needs a fresh current-build check.
Frequently asked
Questions about fell and sell 1.4.3 patch notes

The developer specifically identifies loading problems with progress carried over from the older 1.4.0 demo. The note is not a guarantee of recovery for every corrupted save.
How was this guide verified?
Reviewed September 19, 2026 against the linked official Steam announcements. Ver. 1.4.3 is the named patch baseline; the September 18 public Dungeon Update is distinguished wherever it changes earlier advice. Older developer replies and community reports retain their original dates and labels.
