Fell & Sell Shop Update

What changed in the Fell & Sell Shop Update: three new properties, customer routes, pricing, item deconstruction and the fixes that followed.

Ver. 1.4.3 named baseline · Official-source review 2026-09-19 · Newer public update: September 18

Quick answer

The September 4 Shop Update introduced Darkmoon Fair, Ivory Tower and Old Vinery, rebuilt customer pathfinding, changed pricing calculations and added item deconstruction. Returning players should inspect existing prices and open clear routes through the shop before resuming sales. Later patches refine these systems; the September 18 Dungeon Update also changes furniture bonuses.

What changed recently

Ver. 1.4.3 fixes furniture price stacking and counter navigation. The September 18 public Dungeon Update subsequently reduces some furniture bonuses, applied when you return to the shop.

01

What the three properties add

The official announcement presents Darkmoon Fair as a carnival-themed shop, Ivory Tower as a large marble tower, and Old Vinery as an expansive storefront covered in vines. They expand the available shop settings; the announcement does not publish a size, purchase-cost or capacity comparison.

Use the New Shops guide to compare the confirmed identities and the questions to check in your save before moving. A property's appearance alone does not establish a special sales bonus or a best-profit ranking.

02

Rebuild the customer route before changing prices

Furniture and displayed items became physical obstacles for customers. A completely blocked route can prevent a sale, and the update distinguishes a full checkout queue from a pricing complaint. This changes how to interpret a poor sales session: access, checkout capacity and asked price are separate problems.

Editorial first-session check: leave a continuous route from the entrance to merchandise and a counter, observe a complete purchase, then add displays gradually. Ver. 1.4.3 improves queues and fixes customers unnecessarily choosing an upstairs counter when a ground-floor counter is available.

03

Recheck stock values and unwanted crafts

The Shop Update calculates the base price before applying active shop bonuses, rebalances market values in multiple categories and changes furniture crafting costs. Its expanded hover information helps inspect sales metrics and item stats. A launch-era price or recipe cost should therefore be checked against the current interface.

Item deconstruction returns part of an unwanted item's original crafting materials. The announcement gives no universal recovery percentage. Compare the actual material recovery with a realistic sale value before dismantling something you may need for equipment or a planned craft.

04

Read the later patches alongside 1.4.0

Ver. 1.4.2 adds the red pricing cue, a one-time adjustment of severely overpriced existing stock and single-interaction checkout. Ver. 1.4.3 improves pricing clarity and fixes a bug that repeatedly increased displayed prices when furniture was picked up and replaced.

The public September 18 Dungeon Update is newer than these named patches. Some furniture bonuses now need a return to the shop to refresh, so assess your current setup there before comparing it with an older screenshot or guide.

Outdated advice to avoid

Customers can no longer pass through a wall of displays. Rug stacking was removed, old item values were rebalanced, and repeatedly moving furniture is not a valid price multiplier.

Frequently asked

Questions about fell and sell shop update version 1.4.0

Is the Shop Update still only on the roadmap?

No. The official Shop Update announcement was published on September 4, 2026. The three properties, pricing changes and deconstruction belong to released content.

Do I need to check every old selling price?

Review existing stock because base values and bonus calculations changed. The 1.4.2 automatic adjustment was a one-time migration for severely overpriced items and did not promise the maximum acceptable price.

How was this guide verified?

Reviewed September 19, 2026 against the linked official Steam announcements. Ver. 1.4.3 is the named patch baseline; the September 18 public Dungeon Update is distinguished wherever it changes earlier advice. Older developer replies and community reports retain their original dates and labels.
